Hosted by Serve Idaho - Governor's Commission on Service & Volunteerism in
partnership with Idaho Department of Labor & United Way of Kootenai County Idaho

This event will bring people together who are dedicated to building communities through civic engagement, networking and a celebration of volunteerism. The Conference offers highly interactive workshops lead by state and national experts who share best practices, creative strategies and a generous amount of resources.

Who should attend?

• National Service members - AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps*VISTA, Senior Corps and Learn & Serve America
• Non-profit executives, board and staff members, managers and program directors from faith-based and community organizations
• Individuals and groups interested in setting up a non-profit organization or a Volunteer Center
• Volunteer Management professionals
• Individuals who are involved in recruitment, training, retention and recognition of community volunteers
• Educators, tutors, mentors, counselors and faith-based staff working with youth in service-learning environments
• Individuals interested in personal development around leadership, conflict management and how to inspire youth

Service Projects - A signature part of the Serve Idaho Conference which allows participants to give back to the host community. If you are going to participate in a service project, please bring appropriate clothing for example painting clothes, work gloves, boots, warm coat, rain gear, etc.

2010 Hotel Information - A block of rooms will be reserved at the Coeur d'Alene Golf & Spa Resort - 115 S. 2nd Street Coeur d'Alene. To reserve a room it will require a conference registration confirmation number. Room rates for the Conference will be $75 a night single/double occupancy.
